I specialise in creating personalised, non-religious celebrations of life that honour the person, their story and the people who loved them.
My ceremonies are secular and personalised, with the focus on celebrating a loved one's unique life, relationships, values and legacy.
I am accustomed to handling complex grief caused by a loved one dying in difficult circumstances, including but not limited to:
- suicide or overdose
- families carrying guilt or shame
- estrangement
- young people
- deaths where relationships were complicated
- accidental death
And because I know that family members don't always have two legs, I am also happy to create personalised farewells for much-loved pets.
Helping Every Family Say Goodbye
From time to time, I receive referrals from funeral directors, social workers and other community organisations supporting families experiencing financial hardship.
Every family is invited, if they wish, to contribute an additional amount towards helping another family who might otherwise be unable to access a personalised celebration of life. There is absolutely no expectation to do so.
When funds are available, these contributions allow me to reduce my fee or provide my services at no cost.
